5. What are the 3 most destructive fallacies being spread about global warming?

1. Global warming alarmists have done everything they can to try and convince the public that the science behind global warming is settled. Yet, as I've posted on my website, over 700 scientists who dispute global warming alarmism.

2. Recognizing that their cause is nearly lost, alarmists assert that cap-and-trade would create millions of new green jobs. Senator John Kerry even says cap-and-trade is a “second stimulus bill.” We saw how the first one went. The fact is, however, that cap and trade of the Waxman-Markey, Kerry-Boxer variety is the largest tax increase in American history that will destroy millions of jobs across the country.

3. Proponents of climate legislation have claimed that the world is waiting for the U.S. to act, and that once we pass legislation, China, India, and the rest of the world will follow in lock step.  However China will never accept binding emissions caps.  China, the world's number one CO2 emitter, stated that "it is not possible for China to accept a binding or compulsory target." The tired notion that “if the U.S. leads, China will follow,” simply has no basis in the historical record.  China only follows the U.S. when it’s in their self-interest to do so.  Has China followed the U.S. lead in protecting intellectual property rights?  What about human rights?
